Cooperation partners
The German National Library has set up a number of partnerships in connection with the mandatory deposit of online publications.
Publisher services
Primary amongst these are digital publication delivery and other submission services. The decision of whether to engage the services of a service provider lies with the publisher bound by the legal deposit regulation, as does the choice of provider.
On request, the German National Library can provide a list of companies with whom it has cooperated successfully. The companies concerned have agreed to their names being included in the reference list.
If you are
- a service provider interested in being added to the reference list
- legally required to submit works and are interested in appointing a service provider to deposit the works

Software partners
These include software producers or providers which effect the mandatory deposit of online publications in a suitable form. A redaction system for the export of metadata can, for instance, specify the metadata formats accepted by the German National Library (see Metadata Core Set) as standard.
The decision of whether to use a software program lies with the publisher falling under the legal deposit regulation, as does the choice of software.
