Introductory sessions for users
Introductory sessions on how to use the facilities of the German National Library are held at 15:00 on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month at the Leipzig site. 22 April 2014, 15:00. / 13 May 2014, 15:00 / 27 May 2014, 15:00. These sessions provide basic information on use of the library and on online catalogue search strategies. Each session also includes an introduction to using electronic publications.

Participants should meet in the foyer. Participation in the introductory sessions is free of charge.
Frankfurt am Main
Introductory sessions on how to use the reading room facilities of the German National Library are held at 10:30 and 16:30 on the third Wednesday of each month at the Frankfurt site. Next dates: 16 April 2014, 10:30 / 21 May 2014, 16:30 / 18 June 2014, 10:30. The sessions contain a general introduction to using the reading rooms, offer effective catalogue search strategies and include an introduction to using electronic publications on the reading room terminals at the German National Library. Participation is only possible following prior application. Please contact the main reading room (Tel. +49-69-1525-2500) or the multimedia reading room (Tel. +49-69-1525-2515) to apply. Participants should meet in the foyer.
