The German Music Archive in cooperation with Notenspur-Förderverein e.V. invites visitors to an evening of Scandinavian music for the home to be held amid the exhibition of historical sound reproduction devices and sound carriers.

Dedicated to showcasing "Musik zu Hause in Leipzig", the "Notenspur-Nacht der Hausmusik" is being held once again this year. Public institutions and private living rooms will be turned for one evening into venues where bands and ensembles of all stripes come together to make music in front of a small audience in an intimate environment. With this, the German National Library’s German Music Archive is opening its doors and welcoming you to a very special musical evening.

The band Ysilia will take you on an imaginary journey to the far north with all its harsh beauty and heart-warming music.

If you open your eyes, you will see a nyckelharpa, Celtic harp, guitar, bass and percussion. If you close them, you will probably see Northern lights over endless forests.
