111ies

To mark our 111th anniversary, we like to have your personal impressions and memories of the German National Library - in the form of an Elfchen (“elevenie”). This is a short poem consisting of eleven words in a fixed sequence:
- The first line consists of one word, e.g. a thought or object
- The second line consists of two words. What does the word in the first line do?
- The third line consists of three words. How or where is the word from the first line?
- The fourth line consists of four words. A personal opinion.
- The fifth line consists of one word. Conclusion – what is the result?
Give your creativity free rein and write us an elevenie. Once the submission period is over, the writers of 100 “elevenies” will receive a surprise.
