We invited guests at the 75th Frankfurt Book Fair to come to our promotional area and find out about the German National Library. We engaged with trade fair visitors by holding discussions, presentations and question-and-answer sessions: what does the German National Library do, and what does it actually collect? What do they think the library will be like in 50 years – and what will librarians need in the future?

The German Museum of Books and Writing, the German Exile Archive 1933–1945 and the German Music Archive all showcased themselves and their unique collections. Digital content and opportunities to take part in creative activities rounded off the programme.
