NISO JATS 1.1
NISO JATS can be used when depositing articles in journals.
The metadata documentation in version 2.0 describes the delivery of metadata to the German National Library in the format NISO JATS 1.1 Journal Publishing Tag Set.

The Schema version of NISO JATS 1.1 Journal Publishing DTD is used when importing online publications. It is fully backward-compatible with the previous schema.
Please note that the previous documentation for version 1.0 is therefore still valid when depositing online publications in the format NISO JATS 1.0.
Moreover, please note that the documentation for version 2.0 contains revisions, additions and corrections to the form and content of the version 1.0 documentation.
