Why don’t all works in the catalogue feature “Status in accordance with VGG” (“Status nach VGG”) in the comments?

“Status in accordance with VGG” (“Status nach VGG”) refers to the commercial availability status, which is indicated under the label “Comments” (“Anmerkungen”) in our catalogue. It is standard that this status is only established for titles that fall under the law governing out-of-commerce works.
At the same time, our licensing service is currently limited to single-volume monographic publications, which is why multi-volume works and periodicals do not feature this information.
