This series of events held by the German Museum of Books and Writing employs a variety of formats to illustrate, discuss and educate participants on the media history of protest – from 15th-century pamphlets and the Bückware (articles sold under-the-counter) in the GDR to the #metoo debate. Public protest is the primary instrument of democracy and rule of law.
