The German National Library has two locations: one in Leipzig and the other in Frankfurt am Main.
You can use the extensive holdings of the German National Library at both locations or visit the permanent and temporary exhibitions as well as our cultural or professional events.

The German National Library in Leipzig is closed on the following days: Sundays, statutory national holidays, the Saturday before Easter, Reformation Day, Day of Repentance (“Buß- und Bettag”), and from 24 December to 1 January.
Please note that the exhibitions at the German Museum of Books and Writing have different opening hours.
